Return to “What is ObliNet?”

16. A brief definition

Personal ObliNet is a space for consciously organising personal life, interaction and cooperation.

It is intended to help people understand their own goals, capabilities and commitments more clearly, align expectations with others and make better-informed decisions.

Artificial intelligence acts as an assistant, while people retain freedom of choice and responsibility.

17. A simple explanation

Each of us has dreams, goals, plans and commitments.

Personal ObliNet is conceived as an intelligent assistant that would help people organise their lives, find opportunities, reach agreements with others and put their intentions into practice.

Technology helps, but the final decision always remains with the person.

18. Personal ObliNet — understanding yourself and others better

Each person experiences the world through their own experience, knowledge, feelings, habits and expectations.

We do not always understand even our own wishes or the reasons for our actions. When communicating with others, we often assume that they see a situation as we do.

This leads to hurt feelings, misunderstandings and conflicts that could have been avoided.

Personal ObliNet is a concept for an intelligent assistant that helps people better understand themselves, others and their interactions.

AI helps clarify personal wishes, needs, goals and capabilities, consider a situation from different perspectives and identify issues that matter in a conversation with others.

Example: one person says to another, “I need you to pay more attention to me.”

But what does “more attention” mean?

Talking more often? Spending time together? Helping with everyday tasks? Taking an interest in feelings and concerns?

Personal ObliNet would help people clarify what they really mean when they commit to themselves to do something or to change their attitudes, behaviour, habits, understanding or expectations…

This clarification needs to be revisited and developed periodically.

People still decide for themselves which commitments to undertake.

The essence of Personal ObliNet is to help people live more consciously, understand themselves and others better, and continuously maintain mutual understanding in relationships and joint activity.
