Experimental platform: what already exists
ObliNet already includes an experimental platform for testing mechanisms of organizational coordination. It brings together prototypes and formalized mechanisms for experimenting with individual elements of the approach. This provides a foundation for research and an end-to-end pilot; a complete system for organizational deployment is still being developed.
Forming and checking commitments
- Structured commitment description: who undertakes to deliver which outcome, to whom, by when and under what conditions.
- Completeness checks: identifying missing deadlines, outcome criteria, authority, resources, dependencies, conditions and acceptance procedures.
- Ambiguity detection: identifying differences in participants’ interpretations before a commitment is confirmed.
- Logical consistency checks: checking commitments, conditions, deadlines and acceptance criteria against one another.
- Preliminary feasibility checks: checking against known authority, resources, constraints and dependencies.
Dependencies and revision
- Dependency networks: representing which outcomes from one participant are prerequisites for others’ commitments.
- Hidden and transitive effects of changes: identifying commitments at risk from a delay or a change in resources, a decision or an external condition, including effects through chains of dependencies.
- Circumstances and agreements: showing a risk or a need for revision without automatically changing a previously confirmed commitment.
- Revision options: modeling and comparing procedures for agreement, escalation and allocation of authority.
Acceptance, responsibility and process comparison
- Acceptance criteria and evidence of fulfillment: recording these distinguishes doing the work from confirming that the agreed outcome has been achieved.
- Responsibility mapping: visualizing responsibility, authority and dependencies among contributors, managers and departments.
- Alternative organizational processes: comparing detected contradictions, hidden dependencies, late changes, escalations, repeated agreements and other measurable indicators.
What the platform enables us to investigate
The prototypes provide an experimental environment for investigating which rules for forming, checking, revising and accepting fulfillment of commitments support more reliable joint work. Variants of the same organizational process can be compared, including multilevel management and coordination across departments, with comparable starting conditions and AI support.

Scenarios, the baseline process, outcome criteria and measurement rules are defined in advance. Prevented errors are assessed against a comparable version without the mechanism being tested. Total costs include participants’ work, checks and agreements, computation, rework and losses from errors.
Comparisons in the experimental environment show the relative effectiveness of rules within specified scenarios and assumptions. They do not establish effectiveness in real organizations, which remains to be tested in end-to-end pilots. Having a mechanism does not mean it detects every error or guarantees feasibility.
Interpretation Divergence
Proposed experiment: ask both parties to independently describe the Outcome, deadline, Dependencies and Acceptance Criteria before and after structured clarification. Compare disagreement and time spent. No results are claimed.
Dependency Visibility
Proposed experiment: compare a normal task list with explicit Dependency records on matched coordination scenarios. Measure missed prerequisites, unrealistic deadlines and the time required to identify affected parties.
Decision quality under uncertainty
Proposed experiment: evaluate decisions using only the information available when they were made, then compare those assessments with reviews that reveal outcomes. Examine hindsight effects and the usefulness of a Decision-Time Snapshot.
An evidence register, not a success gallery
Each study should state its hypothesis, protocol, sample or scenario set, measures, limitations and results, including null and adverse findings. This page presents the existing experimental foundation and proposed protocols. Verified reports will be added separately as they become available.
