The mission
Move from “I thought we agreed” to “We can both see what we committed to, what it depends on, and what happened next.” The first iteration presents the concept and proposed applications; it does not claim validated outcomes for every use case.
The long-term direction
AI becomes stronger without becoming a hidden sovereign. Humans retain freedom without losing responsibility. Leaders receive delegated Authority without owning power. Infrastructure grows without a single point of control. Commitments become clearer without becoming rigid. Systems make mistakes and learn.
In ObliNet, the commitment is the primary object of coordination. Its feasibility is checked before confirmation; afterward, dependencies, execution, changing conditions and confirmation of the result are tracked.
AI helps participants formulate, check and align commitments, and assess evidence of their fulfillment.
The authority to enter into or confirm commitments, and to accept fulfillment, remains with the relevant authorized participants.
Boundaries by design
Not a social credit system, mass surveillance, centralized state AI, an automatic political judge, a machine for punishing mistakes or an attempt to formalize every human interaction. Formalization should follow Proportional Formalization: stronger structure where the expected cost of ambiguity or misuse of Authority is higher.
