Current stage of development
An experimental platform already exists for testing individual ObliNet mechanisms: commitment clarification and checks, dependencies, revision and acceptance. The next stage is an end-to-end pilot within a specific organizational process.
The existing experimental foundation enables comparison of coordination rules in modeled scenarios. The collaboration task is to develop the platform and test an end-to-end process with a partner organization.
For investors and partners
ObliNet is developing an approach to coordinating people, organizations and AI agents through explicit, checkable commitments, authority and dependencies. The site presents the concept, application examples and proposed pilots in business and public governance. Potential cooperation includes developing mechanisms, contributing domain expertise and testing real processes. The next stage must establish where the approach delivers measurable value, how demanding implementation is and what conditions are needed to scale it.
Start with business handoffs
The business wedge is a recurring coordination problem: two parties interpret the same promise differently. Start with scope, deadlines, prerequisites and acceptance before disagreement becomes a delay, dispute or financial loss.
Build the Commitment Network
Each Confirmed Commitment connects a Responsible Party, Conditions, Dependencies, Evidence and Acceptance. The value to test is whether this Commitment Network reveals downstream risks that a task list misses.
In ObliNet, the commitment is the primary object of coordination. Its feasibility is checked before confirmation; afterward, dependencies, execution, changing conditions and confirmation of the result are tracked. AI helps participants formulate, check and align commitments, and assess evidence of their fulfillment. The authority to enter into or confirm commitments, and to accept fulfillment, remains with the relevant authorized participants.
Extend to the agent economy
Agents acting for a Principal need a Mandate defining delegated Authority, limits and Escalation rules. Technical capability alone cannot establish Authority to make a promise.
A long-term infrastructure thesis
Portable commitment records and interoperable implementations could support coordination across organizations and agents. Adoption, integration cost, willingness to pay and governance remain open questions for pilots.
